The
Enverga University – Junior Philippine Institute of the Philippines local
chapter held its General Assembly for the second semester of AY 2012 – 2013 at
the Rodolfo B. Abadilla Hall, CET building, 4:30 in the afternoon on November
14.
The
program started with the invocation, followed by the national anthem and the
university hymn. The opening remark was given by Dean Paz L. Bobadilla.
Afterwards, the senior vice presidents gave their reports for the first semester
of AY 2012 – 2013. Ms. Czharina Grace Reyes, Senior Vice President for Academics
presented the achievements and participation of EU-JPIAns in the different
academic contests hosted by other schools and by the Regional Council. Next is
the presentation of Ms. Janine del Mundo, Senior Vice President for
Non-academics. She enumerated the contests joined by EU-JPIAns in the
non-academic or cultural contests and those who won. Third, the presentation of
activities’ revenue and expenses, and the current fund of the organization are
delivered by the Senior Vice President for Finance, Ms. Carol Raca. Fourth is
the audit of all activities by the Senior Vice President on Audit, Ms. Sunshine
Sarmiento; she also presented comments on the HOI Library, one of the projects
of EU-JPIA which started last semester. The next report presentation is on the
Community Extension Services headed by its president, Ms. Joyce Magsino. Also,
the Senior Vice President on Membership, Ms. Gellie Flores, presented the total
population of accountancy students this semester and their composition. Lastly
is the presentation on the upcoming events of EU-JPIA for the current semester
which includes the Accounting Triwizard Tournament.
The
program ended with the closing remarks from the Executive Vice President, Mr.
Mykel Evan Josef De Silva.
