The Junior
Philippine Institute of Accountants – Enverga University Chapter held its 2nd
Rodolfo A. Alvarez Awards at the Rodolfo B. Abadilla Hall, CET building on
February 23 at 6pm.
The RAA
Awards is aimed at recognizing the different organizations accredited in the
university. There are seven categories: 1) Best in
Leadership Promotions, 2) Best in Nurturing Academic Excellence, 3) Best in
Upholding Culture and Arts, 4) Best in Spiritual Growth and Value Formation, 5)
Best School-Based Social Responsibility,
6) Best Community-Based Social Responsibility, and 7) Best
Environmental Welfare Advocacy.
Special Awards were: 1) Most
Active Organization, 2) Activity
with the Best Financing and Accounting, 3)
Best Activity in Promoting Members' Wellness, 4) Most
Creative Activity, 5) Activity
with the Most Positive Impact, and 6)
Most Profitable Activity.
The awarding program started at 7:30
in the evening with the invocation, national anthem and the university hymn.
This was followed by a presentation of the RAA’s history and welcoming remarks
from the EU-JPIA President, Mr. Jejomar Monterey. An intermission number was
given by fourth year students. Next is the message from Dean Paz Bobadilla and
the presentation of the judges. Afterwards, the winners for the different
categories and special awards were recognized. Representatives of the
organizations received the said awards. RAA Awards was held simultaneously with
TEA Awards.

Hosting the event were Ms. Rain Beaux del Rio and Mr. Darren Satoya. The judges were Ms. Jessica Alvarez, Ms. Ma. Lourdes Villareal, Mr. Allan Tomines, Mr. Joe Allan Esteban, and Ms. Mildred Bundalian.
The program ended with a closing remark from the EVP of EU-JPIA, Mr. Mykel Evan Josef de Silva.
