EU-JPIA’s Sportsfest and Palaro ng Lahi 2013

It has been in the tradition of Enverga University –Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants to conduct sportsfest. Thus, this February 9, Saturday, from 8:00 a. m. until 6:30 p. m., JPIANs gathered in the covered court, MSEUF, Site, Lucena City to enjoy the said event. February 9 is a perfect day to hold the EU-JPIA sportsfest, since exam week and Foundation week has just ended.

The event consists of different sports like: basketball, volleyball, badminton singles, badminton mixed doubles, table tennis singles, table tennis mixed doubles, chess and Sudoku. But, it doesn’t just end there, since; this year is a year for JPIA’s innovative era, where activities are carried on with twists, Palaro ng Lahi was also conducted during the sportsfest, having Filipino child games like: piko, jackstone, Chinese garter, and patintero.

The day began with an opening prayer followed by the singing of the National Anthem and recitation of the Oath of Sportmanship. Games started simultaneously. JPIANs from all levels supported the event. Even first year accountancy students who happened to have their NSTP on the same day, still tried to attend the event just right after their class.
